where the water goes

out on a walk today,
the sun warming us through.
tis FINALLY here!





spring melt walk,
we were re-routing rivers,
chocolate milk, fresh smelling rivers,



unclogging leaf/stick/garbage dams,
and following the flow down hill
until we found where it goes into the ground



a pretty spot amongst some poplar trees.


and then something which had been hiding under the snow
surprised us with its directness...
