I got myself some felting supplies long ago,
but you know how you'll have that project sitting in the box...
waiting patiently till you're ready...
and so it did for about a year.
until now!
I finally tried felting!
how therapeutic it is!
jab jab jab jab.
a little patch for somewhere...
tried a head, which turned into a doll.
strange lookin thing!
Attie likes her tho!
thats all that counts.
jab jab.

I have been wanting to try needle felting for a long time. You did really well for a first try! Do you think your swap items might have something to do with needle felting? Because I love your doll!
By the way, I am organising a raffle in aid of the Japan earthquake on my blog. Who knows, you might be interested. It's on www.tintinnabuleuse.blogspot.com
yes, i was certainly thinking of adding needle felting to swap items. did I mention how excited I am to receive 15 handmade gifts from people all over the place?! aawesome! oh, also to make them for the 15 people!
oh, and thanks elza for pretending to like the weird doll! hehe.
Needle felting can be very therapeutic, as long as you don't jab a finger- OUCH! What wonderful first projects!
It's great fun- I love to needle felt an old jumper than felt in further in the washing machine- interesting effects!! And the finger-jabbing// I HAVE been known to cry :-D !!
