Tighten up Challenge

Okay. its been 2+ months since Ava was born and now my body (post- cesarian) feels 

ready to get back in SHAPE!!

 I've got some really erinish guidelines. I figure its gotta be something I 'm  gonna stick with.

So here's MY rules:

1)  Break a sweat every second day (1 hour minimum of exercise)

2)  EVERY meal must be 50% (or more) fruits or Vegetables.

3)  Drink lots of water, juiced juice and smoothies.

4)  Small portions (or NO ) of meat. 

5)  Persistant with the positive affirmations, like...

 

 * I CAN get my body in shape *

*  I LOVE how I feel when I exercise *

*  This food is contributing to a healthy body *   

* My body works the best when i feed it healthy food *

* Smile at thine self in the mirror often * 

I am so so thankful that a gym just opened up in my town. There is a great play area for kids too!



Some days a run with the kids in the chariot will do.

All new this year is an Herbal Vapor Rub for the inevitable sick days this winter.

 I got a poster in the mail - 

and  it turned out it was sent in a new SOAP mold for me!

 A pure Calendula Chamomile bar.

That's what I'm working on.
Tradeshows start next month - Its gonna be funnnn!

 Lots going on around here.

Life with 2 kiddos is busy!

There's always a diaper to change or a mouth to feed.  Food to prepare, toys to trip over.

Fortunately there are also books to read, babies to cuddle and glorious Calendula Salve to make!

 I enjoy this baby...

She's gettin smiley and cooing these days!

I dug up most of the rest of my carrots and found this BRUTE!

She made a lot of juice.

I'm leaving some carrots in the ground with a massive leaf pile on top in hopes (as an experiment) that they will sprout again after a winter in the ground!  

Its the seeds I'm after.

I'm grateful for the big sister being so lovey to the baby.  She's a gentle soul.

Attie's begun storytelling!  Its so damn cute. 

She's got some pretty awesome new words and phrases that keep me laughin!

Then there's the sage tea I had to drink because my (Ava's) milk was OVERflowing. En Gorged.

My sister used this tea while nursing both of her babies. 

Poor girl got plugged milk ducts often, possibly as a result of too much milk.

SAGE tea works!

but be careful, cuz it does work.  

I only drank this pint and the next day was relieved of my hard lumpys.
