every woman needs to have this in their purse

what is toxic? we're always hearing about toxic ingredients in our products.
(or even worse is that we are NOT hearing about them)

Gill Deacon has written a book called "There's Lead in my Lipstick" (among others)
which talks about all the toxic things our bodies are sucking up from the products we use.

She had breast cancer. The thing that struck me about this is that she thought she was alot of the toxicities in her life, she ate organic and vegetarian, did yoga, all the things I assumed would ward off cancer.

On her website, she has a very handy dandy pamphlet that you store in your wallet. So that when you are shopping, you can whip it out and see if that word on the ingredient list is in fact harmful. You can read all about the bad ones, but when you are shopping, you will forget the words to look for.

go HERE to download this free print out for your wallet

THis is the list she provides, Why not go grab a shampoo or lotion bottle from your bathroom and just see what you are or are not soaking up!

i heard the author in an interview on cbc radio. what i thought was really scary is that companies aren't required to list the often carcinogenic by-products that result from the making of a lot of these products!
